TEETH WHITENING

When you meet someone, the first thing you notice in them is their smile. It is essential to have a whiter and brighter smile as that leaves a memorable impression making you feel better about yourself. Your teeth might stain and darken over time due to your lifestyle or aging. There are many reasons that can lead to stained teeth, such as drinking tea, coffee, cola, and red wine, or smoking.

WHY DO TEETH GET DISCOLORED

No one can escape from tooth discoloration because the causes are very common. The most common staining substances are soft drinks, juices, tea, coffee, red wine, tomato sauce, soy sauce, berries, and smoking. Another type of discoloration is due to the natural result, i.e., aging and long-term use of certain medications.

aRE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

There are certain studies that prove that teeth whitening is effective and safe. The ADA has even approved some of the teeth whitening products.

Sometimes you might feel mild irritation in the gums or sensitivity in the tooth, which goes away as soon as the treatment ends.

whAT IS INVOLVED IN TEETH WHITENING?

When you visit us for teeth whitening, our dentist will determine if you are the right candidate to undergo the procedure. Then the type of bleaching system will be provided for the best results. With the help of an in-office bleaching system, your teeth can be lightened immediately.

The dentist might suggest using at-home bleaching, which takes time to serve your purpose. Carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide-containing toothpaste can make your teeth three to eight shades lighter. For the teeth whitening appliance or trays, impressions of your teeth are taken to create customized trays that look like a mouthguard. This appliance is very comfortable and lightweight.
